Weston Ruiz Weston is the Director of College Campus Ministry for the Diocese of Sacramento. He has a long history with the Diocese of Sacramento serving in youth ministry, music ministry, parish ministry and now college ministry. Weston grew up in Redding, CA and spent the past 2+ years as Director of the Newman Catholic Center in Chico. He is recently married this past March to his wife Angela. Weston is excited to be working alongside our dedicated college students here at the Newman Center. When he isn’t working he likes to travel without an itinerary and play basketball with the students.
We asked Weston three unusual questions to find out a little more about what makes him tick.
What is your favorite way to waste time? Taking my motorcycle out on a long ride. What is your silliest fear? The creepy plant life at the bottom of the lake that have possible zombie arms in them. What smell do you love the most? Coffee, because nothing ever goes wrong when you’re drinking coffee.
