MISSION
Gratia Plena Sisters commit themselves to follow the call of Christ through Mary. To live as handmaids of the Lord, “May it be done to me according to your word.” As a member of the Newman Catholic Community, each sister brings her own talents, gifts and personality to the service of the Church and the world. As a sisterhood, we grow in authentic friendship and accompany one another in discerning our vocation through prayer, service, and the proclamation of the Gospel. |
VISION
The Gratia Plena Sister is first and foremost a handmaid of the Lord, dedicated to the service of her fellow sister. She is called to help her fellow sister experience and respond to the love of Christ in all areas of their lives; through ministry at church, in education, athletics, academia, art and technology. The Gratia Plena Sister receives her mission from Jesus Christ and His Church and she looks to Mary as an example of how best to live out this mission. |
